Lady & The Tramp

Why is it that we are all good enough to be kept as protection and property, but when the family moves we are always left behind?
What did we do to deserve this?
Left to fend for ourselves we almost lost all touch with reality and thought all people are bad. BUT PETS has shown us that not all hands are hit and not all words spoken and harsh.
BUT the reality of the situation is, we are 2 of 234 animals with PETS needing homes, so if you cant help us, please ask a friend to do.
We are approx 5 months old.
Bye,
Lady & The Tramp

Miles

and miles and miles I walked,
abandoned next to the highway I did not know how to cross the road and the cars WHIZZING past scared me so much, but luckily for me a PETS volunteer stopped and picked me up.
Life has not been easy and my skin is TERRIBLE. I have never really known good food or loving hands and I need a bit of extra TCL.
Can you help me? Can I come and live with you?

Jackson
You kept me outside, I was never allowed to be a part of your family and life. I was patient and obedient and never noisy, as I did not want to anger you.
And then you decided to move, and I was waiting to be taken to our new home, but you left with out me. I wasnt worried, I knew you would come back for me. And when you didnt I sat infront of our home and waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually it became clear to us all that you would never come for me, that you had left me behind. 2 Weeks later a neighbour called PETS and they came to fetch me and now I am safe and fed and warm and happy and I PRAY that you will allow me to be that special rescue doggy in your life and home.
I am not so old, although my teeth look bad, I had to eat stones sometimes to fill my tummy. The vet thinks I am about 3 or 4 years old. PETS has neutered me and vaccinated de-wormed and I have a clear bill of health.

To help me and adopt me, please email anoux@pets.org.za and you will never look back. I am a super love bug, great with other dogs, I am small/med breed boy and I LOVE children. I have no bad bones in me.
Love Jackson.

SAD SAD Mommy dog need help

She is so depressed, she has also stopped eating. :((
On our rounds we came across thet saddest girl. Her eyes were tired and her body sore from lying and living on stones and dirt. She gave birth and mothered an entire litter in her sandpit and we can see the strain it has taken on her. She is exhausted from the constant battle for survival.
We have taken her in and want to give her refuse and peace.
We need to find her a loving home and we need a donation to have her spayed and checked out.
If you want to meet her or help her, email anoux@pets.org.za
